PROGRAMMER
(Internship)
We are forming a new branch of our company dealing with a new level of broadcasting services, and we are looking for a student intern with a multimedia background who can work with us on this client-based project. The student will be required to work closely with the project manager on programming a company website.
Programmer:
The candidate required should possess the following skills
and abilities:
Experience programming relational databases
using SQL and PHP, and creating applications using JAVA.
Knowledge
of Linux and server technology is essential.
Familiarity with XML, XHTML, JavaScript, Lingo, SSI, video streaming and website security issues also considered assets.
Essential Tools:
SQL and PHP, JAVA, Linux, server technology.
Assets:
XML, XHTML, JavaScript, Lingo, SSI, video streaming and website security.
We are looking for a 4th year student. This project is designed for a one term duration, however, a potential long-term assignment may be possible.
