Hello to all:

I want to design folding paper sculptures (kirigami) in AutoCAD and 3DSMAX. I'm thinking I can model them in MAX fairly easy, but I simply don't know how.

What I need is to be able to move a flat plane in MAX; another plane connected to it would move also, just like the folds in a piece of paper.

I am familiar with the basic interface of MAX and I know how to model, assign materials, etc, but I'm guessing what I want to do requires IK/Bones. Anyone out there have any ideas?
