The cut end of the joist will rest on the bearing wall. That's why I think your wall is not bearing.

Locating the bearing walls is just a final assurance.

I find the accumulation in the Open Recent menu to be a bit of a nuisance for me.

On my wish list- a way in which you could limit the amount of "Open Recents" in the menu to a fixed number.
