Im from fusion technologies solutions which i founded with my partner and a friend last July. Since operating our business which is providing cad/cam/cae solutions to various industry i have always been aasked this question. Which is better solidworks with mastercam or UGNX? To me the answer is simple. Learn both. I started of with solidworks and grew to UGNX becos with solidworks u learn quicker and faster. Then once u run out of icons or u have exhausted all icon then u go for UGNX. To me it depends on the user. I for once know that u shouldn't stick to one cad system. What happens if it goes extinct.
