I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself to the users. I have browsed through these threads for awhile and decided it was time to sign up and be a part.
Following is an image representing what I do related to the building industry.
Hope to be a part of this fine group of people.

Welcome. I'm intrigued by your models. What is the nature of the frame-on-a-pedestal at the center-left of your image above ?

The Pedestal Post and Beam home I designed as an alternative to the dated product available on the market. There are only two US providers for pedestal type homes with both of them being rather odd, hard to furnish and of a bygone era design.
With all of the attention brought to the forefront in coastal environments along with the need to develop housing that reduces impact on building sites this conventional structure meets LEED energy guidelines to provide a very comfortable cottage living on its own. I have developed this structure with multiple unit configurations for clients with a need for more space. The pedestal type construction also provides for application to extreme sloped sites where foundation costs are high. The added benifit to the pedestal design is it is only 15% of the structure above.
The inverted support truss system provides the necessary strenght to withstand hurricane force winds as well as the highest level seismic zones.
Below you will find a document that provides more detail to the structure with its exterior and floorplan layout.
Best Regards
