I don't claim any of these theories to be "true", as much as they are "interesting", unproven, speculations.

Among the geneology research that is sweeping the nation, there is the interesting news that Al Sharpton may be related to Strom Thurmond. The Reverend is asking for a DNA blood sampling, and Strom's relatives have agreed to submit their DNA for a test.

Right or wrong as I feel he has been, I have always admired Al Sharpton for "standing up" like a true, patriotic America. But his "red blooded American" ancestry may also be blue-blooded, in my opinion.

And why should any of us be surprised at ANY possibilities, given the mixing of populations over the last several hundreds of years?

Strom Thurmond and the Reverend Al Sharpton

Also, I have seen it in print, that Colin Powell is the 2nd or 3th generation Bahamian-America, raised in the Bronx, from some love-child relationship between an English Royal Viceroy and a native born woman.
Therefore, there are similarities between Colin Powell and Elizabeth II.

And in my book, Strom Thurmond, from an English country-gentleman stock of the Carolinas, seems to have a similarity with George Washington...a former member of the English military aristocracy prior to the revolution...

So the very interesting photo analogy takes us full circle to the plausible DNA relationship between George Washington, Queen Elizabeth II, Al Sharpton, and Colin Powell.

I believe there may be some truth to these similarities. 12 generations of all of our families brings us to the mathematical possibilities of 4096 DNA contributions, making all of us cousins eventually.

Thanks to Adobe Photoshop and Imageshack.us for the help on this.

If you back maybe even just 500 years in any direction on anyone's family tree, you'll find that we change ethnicity at least once. The concept of racial purity or ethnic identity was invented independent of any anthropological science, more a product of philosophy and theory similar to phrenology. I have an old webster's dictionary that shows the evolutionary tree of man from rat to homosapien, and they actually have us branching off ethnically into individual species. There was no evidence to support this, only the compulsion to believe we were not meant to intermingle. However we are, and this discovery about Mr. Sharpton is no surprise. We are too smart to be all one color; it would drive us mad.

Many of the following comparisons were first featured in a Japanese Forum website called... www.jref.com...

English Royal Family, Japanese Royal Family

Nozu Michitsura (Japanese Royal Family), Kemal Ataturk, Abe Lincoln, Dan Travanti

Nozu Michitsura of Japan, Moctesuma of the Aztecs, Tecumseh

Abe Lincoln, Nozu Michitsura, Abe Hiroshi (Japanese Actor), Tecumseh

Elvis and Sawamuri Kazuki

John Wayne, Yao Ming, Arnold Schwarzenegger

Brad Pitt and Ken Hirai (Japanese Pop Singer)

Spielberg, Lucas, Mullah Khatemi

We are all certainly one family, but in my amateurish, touristy, non scientific observations, and the high statistical incidence of YAP DNA found in Nepalese, Tibetans, and allegedly in the "Jomon" of the Japanese Royal family line, I now believe the European Royalty, the Japanese Royalty, the Incas, the Aztecs all might show strong connectivity. It is not out of the realm of possibility that the Semitic tribes also were related in this "family", and may be directly connected in ancient times.

The "Jomon" history alleges to be 8,000 to 10,000 years old, and may have evolved to become..."Human".

Your opinions are appreciated.
