Can DW pro extrude (moulding) profiles along a curve or arch easily?
I'm shopping for user friendly 3d cad for exterior hardscape design. _________________ Tim Carter |

Yes! In DesignWorkshop you can use the Edit -> Duplicate Mitered... menu command to duplicate a slightly extruded profile about a circle whose center you specify. The result will be several objects fitted to one another to form an arc or circle.
More complex objects can be formed using the DesignWorkshop Online Machines, which are online tools intended to automate certain functions not easily accomplished in DW. In particular the Lofting Machine and Lathe Machine seem like good candidates for you. |
