| Just to play long shots: I turned off Classic then I trashed PCadd/Wildtools exept for my libraries and stationary and reinstalled with the updaters. Then I used Cocktail to do the full set of maintenance routines (ie: permissions, prebinding, caches, etc). Then tried the New Tools external in the proper folder. Same results: it will not load. |

No new information.
Have tried all suggestions listed. Wild Tools "NEW TOOLS" will not load. _________________ robert d. wease ra, ncarb

We have had a mix-up between Mike Cleveland and me. "WildTools 7.1.1" as uploaded is an earlier version and not what we intended to release. It does not contain the Needle tool bug fix and the Move Points tool crashes. The problem is that the files are not in sync with each other.
We will have a new updater up shortly, and it will be called WildTools 7.1.2 to distinguish it from this little blooper.
When you see what the enhancements are, you'll quickly forget about this little bump in the road. In fact, I'm already having difficulty remembering all the details...
Software is created by humans.

I downloaded NewTools and installed it properly.
The newTools palette does show up, but I can only use the TextAdjuster. The TestTool doesn't load the test tools into my PowerCadd. _________________ John Cruet

John,
Look at the WT pallet. The "new tools" appear in there.... _________________ Ed |

Everyone,
WT 7.1.2 is now available in an updater at www.engsw.com. Use NewTools 7.1.2 with this and everything will work fine.
