Didn't the GOP invent the term "the politics of personal destruction"?

Yes that is politics, and those of you on the political left....take a good, long look at the face of your party: Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and Howard Dean. It's not a pretty sight.

And now that Dean is now the choice to run the Democratic party, think about that for a minute. The Democrats lost nearly every single national race that they ran. Howard Dean was defeated in the primaries because he was viewed as too extreme. The liberals considered their safe choice to be JK, who was also soundly defeated. So now they're turning to former Vermont Governor and Doctor Howard Dean to lead them out of the darkness? This should be good.

This is the same Howard Dean that said the capture of Saddam Hussein did not make America safer. This is the same Howard Dean that said he found it "interesting" that President Bush might have known about the 9/11 attacks beforehand. And this is the same Howard Dean that just the other day said he hated Republicans. That's right, he used the word "hate."

Imagine if a Republican had said he hated Democrats? We'd still be hearing about it Shocked

Hipocrisy???...how about our cash for the troops? President Bush has asked for an $82 billion appropriation to fund ongoing efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The bill was sent up to the Hill late yesterday. The bill reportedly includes $6 billion to speed up training Iraqi military units so our boys can get the hell out of there and come home. All sounds like a good idea, right?

You just had to know that there would be opposition to this funding request. The opposition will come from Democrats and assorted RINO's (Republicans In Name Only) such as Senators Hagel, Specter, Snowe, etc. You will hear the left whine about how they don't want to give the administration a blank check. And that is where the Hypocrisy begins. Let's go back, for instance, to Nancy Pelosi's rebuttal to George Bush's State of the Union address. The aging hippy complained that Iraqi troops weren't being trained fast enough. Now they will be. Democrats have complained for months that the troops don't have everything they need. Keep an eye on those very same people in the next few days to see just how they vote on this spending bill.

Supporting the troops takes money, so let's see how Congress rates on this one Shocked

How many do you think that was, Donald?

Well, several have, and we haven't heard a thing. Imagine that!
